About Us
It all started back in 1993 in the small town of Damascus, Maryland. My family and I packed up and moved to Maryland from North Carolina in 1984 to pursue an occupational opportunity in computer maintenance and engineering. Although active in our church and community in spreading the gospel, we began to feel God calling us to do more. When a door opened for me to go on a two week mission trip to Zambia, Africa, I was confident God had called me. The trip was filled with new experiences in preaching the gospel, salvation, friendships and the inescapable call of God to return.
When the trip concluded, I returned to my family a different man. After weeks of praying and seeking God, I was certain that God had called me to be a full time missionary. In only a few months, my whole family responded to God’s call and we began to share the vision with churches and individuals. Virtually all of our personal possessions were given away or sold. In February of 1994.... Brandi (13), Jamie (10), Sheri (8), myself and Linda moved to Zambia with 15 suitcases and a great deal of faith.
For years we worked in Southern Zambia and Northern Zimbabwe with a few trips to Congo (DRC) thrown in from time to time. We strove to meet the needs of those we encountered both physically and spiritually. Over the years we've been involved in various kinds of ministries including hospitals, orphanages, schools, and relief food distribution; but the heart of every program has always been building God's Kingdom.
In 2006 Noah Ministries was born. As we felt the Lord leading us into something new we began to seek God about what to call this new ministry. The Lord began to show Linda that the ministry they would now begin would be similar to how Noah responded so long ago. We would build things that like Noah's ark would bring salvation to all who enter. So Noah Ministries was born with the purpose of building whatever it takes to bring salvation to those around us.
We currently live in Kalomo, Zambia which is about 100 miles north of Livingstone. In Mapampi, a village outside of Kalomo, we are partnering with Global Orphan Relief (GO!) in all our orphan projects to help the community. We are operating a children's home for orphaned children called House of Faith. We have also built and will soon be opening another orphanage in Muntuamusiku village in Sinazongwe district of the Gwembe Valley (referred to as "The Valley") called the House of Hope. Every weekend is spent somewhere in the villages encouraging pastors and evangelizing the areas with tools such as the Jesus Film. We are also operating a school of ministry in various locations for lay pastors who cannot manage to go to Bible college in mostly rural areas. In Likasi, Congo there is a sponsorship program in place for orphaned children to go to primary school. There are currently170 orphaned children sponorsed to attend a Christian school where they receive a good education and learn about God's kingdom.
We're committed to going wherever God leads and building whatever it takes, be it orphanages, schools, clinics, or churches in order to bring salvation to the people around us. We invite you to go with us in prayer and support or even come out for a visit. Who knows maybe God will call us to build His kingdom together.

Having a Bit of Fun
Take a fun look at Noah’s ark and find some humor but also some
thoughts worth considering.
1. Don’t miss the boat.
2. Remember we are all in the same boat.
3. Plan ahead it wasn’t raining when Noah began building the ark.
4. Stay fit when you’re 600 years old someone may ask you to do something really BIG.
5. Don’t listen to the Critics just get on with the job that needs to be done.
6. Build your future on higher ground
7. For safety’s sake travel in pairs
8. Speed isn’t always an advantage the snails were n board with the cheetahs
9. Remember the ark was build by amateurs the Titanic by professionals
10. No matter the storm there is always a rainbow waiting.
