We tried to get over jet lag but it is just hard and took us about a week to sleep at the right times.  Sheri turned things back over to us and headed out to Congo DR to check in on our orphan children there that we help to go to school and do ministry in the villages.  Michael and I checked in on House of Hope and found the Activities Center looking good.  It is ready for the cement ring and roof.  It is so Hot in the valley that we thought an open shelter with lock up closets for learning and playing would be best.  We're looking forward to seeing this project completed soon.  Michael and Liz Boone blessed Noah Ministries with this gift along with the 1st home at the project.

Michael will be working with WATER this month so many things to catch up on.  He ran the last wire to a power box in the pump house at House of Hope so the submersible pump could be tested.  It worked and soon he will be pulling the hand pump making way for the water tank and and pipes to be installed for running water on site.

I came back to happy children at House of Faith but with a few problems on site. I prayed for a couple of weeks about stories I had been told.  I believe truth has been found and we are fixing all the problems.

More water issues at House of Faith.  Michael traveled to borrow equipment from Overland Missions in Livingstone to pull the well. He found the problem it was a hole in one of the pipes deep in the well.  He replaced it with a new pipe and by afternoon we had water pumping into the tank again PTL!  The picture below was so sweet.  All the little children got a brick and used this well pulling as their afternoon entertainment watching all that Uncle Mike and the men did. It is a holiday month here so everyone is out of school.

Michael was asked to share at a wedding on the 13th of April.  What a beautiful wedding it was....  The bride and Groom are not suppose to look happy here because they are leaving their mom and dad...and that makes them sad.

We were asked to show the Jesus Film at a town church in Kalomo for Good Friday.  The church was full and everyone was touched.  What a blessed Easter time.

Winter is coming to Zambia soon and we have started going through bags of stored clothes and I've done a lot of open market shopping  looking for used clothes from at good prices to fill in what is needed.  It's a big job.  Sheri went through and found what the House of Hope kids needed because she does not have a good market near her.

We spent the day pulling another well at House of Hope to install a submersible pump.   It was a big job and there is still lots of work to be done before we get the lines run to the tank on the hill.  After everything was done the children got so excited to see the water coming from the pipe without pumping.

Sheri and the house mom are working hard to get the children on grade level and teaching them how to read in English!
The children are growing fast it is hard to believe the work at House of Hope started almost a year ago.

This month and next month I am home visiting our extended care kids Evelyn and Stephen are adjusting well to city life with their grandma.  World Orphan Relief will continue to help with their school fees and uniforms.

No matter how young the children there is always a way they can help with harvest.  They are shelling maize... (corn)

I've been hunting at the open markets for used clothing from the states this month.  It's that time of year I need warm clothes for 59 children....
