Our children are growing up! My prayer is she will be a blessing to her grandparents.
The Lorry was finally running again and what a blessing House of Faith received from Africa's Child. They have been reorganizing and decided to close their guest house for now and gave us the bunk beds and mats for our 6th Children's home. Thank you Africa's Child! Offer or Ophah returned to her grandparents in early October. We will continue to pay her school fees and visit her and her family every 3 months. Our children are growing up! My prayer is she will be a blessing to her grandparents. Painting has finished on the Teacher's house at House of Faith. We have enclosed our bush chickens at House of Faith. 32 chicks at different ages, 9 hens and 3 rosters. This all started from one hen. I am hoping the children will be eating our own chickens soon. House of Hope has electricity and we are still working on the front veranda kitchen area but the cooker has been connected. Antioch AWANA Kids from Marion Iowa gave Noah Ministries a gift in June that helped buy this Honda 125cc. Sheri is hoping to start programs in several schools and work with relatives who care for orphans with school fees and medical trips to the Clinic. What a blessing when fuel is about $8.00 a gallon. Michael spent three weekends in very HOT October again working with rural Pastors and the Jesus Film. He is always encouraged and blessed by what the Lord is doing far off the main roads. We found an inexpensive 2 man tent in Lusaka and Michael was so happy. He will now have a pleasant place to sleep while working in these remote places without spending over a $1,000 on a roof rack tent. We are also praying about the next location to do the Bible training program MOT MOT that will be starting after the rains in 2014. So far it is looking like a place almost 4 hours off the main road and already 40 Pastors are interested. This is a 2-3 year, 5 days a month program. We always try to have 30 to a class but we will see just how the Lord will work all the details out. Keep this in your prayers please, for clear direction on this valuable program for rural pastors. Our kids at House of Faith are learning to garden. I was so blessed to see them excited about work. I'm praying they will gain knowledge that will bless them as they grow older to feed their families. A fire came through from an open pit burning behind our house. We do not have a block or brick wall for security because of the expense. We have almost an acre of land. I decided to have a grass fence for privacy, security and the price. The grass is tied on in small bunches at 4 different places on the barbwire and then small sections are also tied at the bottom so animals or small people can not crawl in... Well it was so nicely done we could not get it off the wire to stop the fire! We lost about a side and a half before we could stop the fire. Many people blessed us with helping and even the fire truck came after it was out. I did not even know we had a working fire truck in Kalomo. What a blessing. Finding grass this time of year before the rains and with all the burning that goes on before planting well I was wondering what we were going to do. The Lord so blessed us as he always does to find grass the very next morning. It took two young men three days work to get it all back together. We just never know what is coming our way but I'm so thankful I am HIS child.
