Global Orphan Relief is building a teachers house at House of Faith for our teacher who tutors our kids. Many Orphans do not get sent to school because of cost and come to us behind in grades. Castard Siamapepe helps the children get caught up to grade level. We have had some children skip grades with his help. We checked in on the House of Hope site in the Valley and the second house is coming up. Sheri will be staying in this house until other construction projects can be started. Still no power has come to the site. We are so blessed to have found a preschool teacher who loves the Lord and our children. Richard is working with the younger children three days a weeks so he can also work with Children's Ministries on the weekend in town. So far everything is working out very well! Well after wanting to open House of Hope for almost 8 months looking and praying for the right house mom to start the work there the Lord suddenly answered our prayers! Loveness our 5th house mom at House of Faith wanted to get closer to her family in Jembo and felt this was the answer the Lord had shared with her. We are so excited and blessed to have this women of God answer the call to care for orphans in the valley. We are so excited after waiting for power since August of 2012 that the poles have been put up and lines ran. We are still waiting on the transformer to be connected. Praying soon and very soon..... We had a very special group of children to visit us at House of Faith and share an Easter play and special programs with us. Makes me feel old when I think of caring for them as babies! Thanks for the visit, you are all growing up so special in the Lord. Well the end of April I started the process of clothing all the children with warm clothes for our winter months here. This process happens twice a year and a few things here and there in between. It's a big job and I am always praying that whatever is in the bags in the storage closet will be just what I need. When Global Orphan Relief visits they bring in donated items and we have a very special lady, Dottie Maske, who sends us packages a couple of times a year from the states. Her church in Maryland also helps with this, Mt. Hope Christian Fellowship. Seems the Lord always works His wonders and I only have to look for very few items at the market here in Kalomo. This year it was 30 pairs of boys pants and in one shopping trip we found all but three pairs... It sounds like a lot
